DOUG GAILOR OF CHARLOTTE IS 21ST NAPA AUTO PARTS HONORARY CREW MEMBER OF
2010 NHRA SEASON

CONCORD, N.C. (Sept. 19, 2010) - Doug Gailor, of Charlotte, N.C., was
selected as the 21st NAPA AUTO PARTS Honorary Crew Member of the 2010 NHRA
Full Throttle Drag Racing Series at this weekend's third annual NHRA
Carolina Nationals.

Gailor, 52, is the owner of Steele Creek Tire and Service Center in
Charlotte, also a NAPA AutoCare Center. He opened his business in 1997,
beginning a relationship with NAPA as an independent, then became a NAPA
AutoCare Center in 2001.

Born in Albany, N.Y., Gailor relocated to Charlotte in 1986. "I came here as
a Firestone employee and after a few years I decided to open my own store. I
am a Firestone and NAPA dealer now.

"Our relationship with NAPA is great. Everyone is always there to help," he
added. "As a business owner, it is more of a partnership. I need a supplier
and NAPA has everything I need to conduct my business."

Although Gailor is not involved in any form of motorsports, he has been to
the NHRA races here in Concord for all three years, and "of course, I've
watched the NASCAR races here many times."

He was excited to have been named the NAPA AUTO PARTS Honorary Crew Member
for the weekend. "It's a great honor and I'm happy to be here," he said.
"I'm thrilled to death to have been selected."

Tom Beaghen, an outside sales person for the NAPA Distribution Center in
Charlotte was on hand to help present the honor to Gailor in the Don
Schumacher Racing pit area. "Doug was gracious enough to join us as a
presenter for the LEAD participants," explained Beaghen. "LEAD is the
program for the assistant managers in the NAPA Atlantic Division who are the
next wave of managers. Doug joined me in Atlanta for a full day. We both
presented to them at their initial training classes in August. Steele Creek
is one of our highest producing centers in Charlotte and for him to give up
time and leave for the day is a very gracious thing for him to do. We're
truly thankful for his business and participation as a partner, so this was
our way of thanking him for what he does for us."

As for the relationship between NAPA, DSR and NHRA, "I think it's
wonderful," said Beaghen. "I'm on the street all the time and instead of
just having the NASCAR angle to talk about, it's a whole other world that
has opened up to us. It's a different group of folks and a different group
of fans."

Gailor's non-wrenching crew-member duties included escorting the NAPA Brakes
Dodge Funny Car to the staging lanes for Saturday's qualifying rounds. He
then helped retrieve the car at the end of the track.

The side window of the NAPA Brakes Dodge sported his name as the NAPA AUTO
PARTS Honorary Crew Member this weekend.

He also met and chatted with the entire NAPA Brakes Dodge Funny Car crew,
was a special guest in the NAPA hospitality area throughout the weekend,
received a NAPA team jersey, experienced an up-close-and-personal view of
the NAPA crew as the team worked on the car, and enjoyed a private tour of
the team transporter and pit area.

NAPA AUTO PARTS distribution centers at each NHRA event during the season
have different criteria for choosing the persons who are potential NAPA AUTO
PARTS Honorary Crew Members.
