Here is a look at what is happening in ASA Racing this weekend. ASA SERIES ASA INTERSTATE RACING ASSOCIATION (Sheboygan County Fair Park, Plymouth, WI) Only one race is on the schedule this weekend for the fast 410 Winged Sprints. They will be competing in the Filskov Memorial on Saturday night. Billy Balog continues to lead their championship standings. www.irasprints.org ASA MEMBER TRACKS ACE SPEEDWAY (Elon, NC) Join us this Friday night, September 17th for Fan Appreciation Night at Ace Speedway! We will also crown Champions in the Chick-Fil-A Modifieds, the Burlington Motors Limiteds and the AceSpeedway.com Mini-Stocks. The Legendary Flathead Fords will also be in action this week. Special ticket prices for Fan Appreciation night are Adults at $7, Students & Seniors at $4 and kids 12 and under free. The USAC Western States Sprint Cars will highlight both nights of racing. On Friday The ASA ESI Express Modifieds will have double main events. The Project Filter Pro 4's and Mini Stocks will be in action. On Saturday, the Pepsi Sprint Cars, CWI Street Stocks, Tates Hornets and the Wild and Wacky Thunderdogs will join the USAC Sprints. At least that will be the case Saturday (September 18) when Orange Show Speedway hosts the Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous Burnout Contest and an abbreviated racing program that will present the Interstate Batteries Factory Fours, Stock OHV Karts and a Drag Boat race on the infield Figure 8 course. $10 for general admission and $8 for seniors (60 and older), students 11 to 18 and military personnel with valid identification. Children 10 and under are admitted free. Fans will get the chance to meet the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competitors when the speedway will host the BB&T autograph session at 4:30pm. Tickets will go on sale at 4pm when the gates open. On track activities will begin at 6pm with Hot Laps. We have plenty of free parking and camping is free but we do not have hook ups. There is a statewide burn ban in effect so we can not allow any camp fires during the weekend. Admission: Adults - $25; Senior (60+) and Military - $20; Students 7 to 17 - $12 and Children 6 and Under - Free. Pit passes $40. www.vamotorspeedway.com WILMOT RACEWAY (Wilmot, WI) The Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series is set to conclude its 2010 season on Saturday September 18 at the Wilmot Raceway (Wilmot, WI). The "95 WIIL ROCK / RALPH FOGEL MEMORIAL 150" main event will be held in honor of the late Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series veteran driver who passed away late in 2009. The show is the rescheduled July 24 race event that was rained out due to heavy rains. The race program will begin starting at 6:30 featuring 10-lap heat races for the "Street Stock" division. Immediately following will be the "95 WIIL ROCK / RALPH FOGEL MEMORIAL 75" enduro for the Midwest Enduro Small Car and V-6 Series cars. The Hawg Heaven sponsored 30-lap "Street Stock" will follow.
