Renault Australia Appoints New Managing Director
VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA – Sept 7, 2010: Renault Australia has announced that Rudi Koenig has left the company. His replacement, Justin Hocevar, commences his new role tomorrow, September 8th.
Mr. Koenig was employed by both the Nissan and Renault organizations, in various roles, for more than 34 years.
He spent the last seven years as Managing Director for Renault Australia.
During this time, he played a pivotal role in the re-establishment of Renault in Australia, forging a core business model and product base from which Renault can drive its next stage of growth. Renault Australia has acknowledged the contribution, commitment and effort Mr. Koenig made to the both the Renault and Nissan operations in Australia.
Renault Australia has confirmed Justin Hocevar as the new Managing Director of Renault Australia. Mr. Hocevar comes to Renault with extensive premium automotive brand experience following a 12 year career with BMW Group Australia.
Most recently Mr. Hocevar was the National Manager for Mini and prior roles include National Sales Manager - BMW Motorrad, National Parts & Accessories Manager - BMW Motorrad and Area Manager - BMW Motorrad.
Preceding his employment with the BMW Group Australia, he was an Account Executive with Sydney based advertising firm Marshall Cutting.
