2010 Shanghai International Alternative Fuels & Vehicles Summit

SHANGHAI--2010 Shanghai International Alternative Fuels & Vehicles Summit will be held at Shanghai New Energy Automobiles and Key Parts Industrial Base on October 19-22. This event is cordially supported by China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), National Energy Administration, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Shanghai Municipal Government.

  • China’s new energy automobile sector is benefiting from a bonanza of preferential policies. On June 1, NDRC, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued a Circular on Pilot Subsidy to Private New Energy Vehicle Buyers, which puts forward a variety of subsidies and support policies for new energy cars. The State Council of China has listed new energy automobile industry as one of the strategic emerging industries with special planning.

On this occasion, this event will gather together government decision makers and business leaders from China and worldwide to conduct discussions and share experience.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Interpretation of new energy policies by NDRC, National Energy Administration and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of P.R.C. as well as the policy orientation of relevant government organs in Japan, South Korea, Germany, etc., plus Shanghai Municipality;
