Shannon McIntosh: Back On Track And Everything Else Between

Indianapolis, August 23, 2010: It has been a CRAZY past five months. I have been an official Hoosier since the end of February. I'll first update you with the most recent news and then take a look back at what I've been up to between now and February.

In June, I formed a 4-race partnership with an organization called Glass Hammer Racing and have gotten myself back in a race car driving for legendary team owner and builder Bob East:

"Owner of Bob East Enterprises, Bob East is one of most celebrated car builders/team managers in USAC racing history. Under his leadership, the formidable Nine Racing team won 10 USAC National Midget Championships and more than 120 feature wins. Numerous NASCAR stars first arrived on the national motorsports radar screen in the famed Nine Midgets, including such drivers as Tony Stewart, Mike Bliss, Kasey Kahne, Jason Leffler, Kenny Irwin, JJ Yeley and Bobby East.

Glass Hammer Racing: I've got to thank social media for taking part in this opportunity. I have been able to remain "out there" through social media although not in a race car since last September, and in fact only three times last season.

After focusing much on my social media presence I have accumulated over 1,000 follows on Twitter, and nearly 4,000 fans and friends on Facebook. Many of whom are race fans, some who are friends and some who have just happened to come across my sites!

To make a long story short (for me anyways) check out the blog titled "She had me at Hello" HERE to read the details on how our awesome partnership formed and what we're going to do!
