De Silvestro Looking To Post Back To Back Top Ten Finishes At Sonoma

SONOMA, August 20, 2010: – Heading into the last road course race this season, Team Stargate World/HVM Racing’s Simona De Silvestro rolls into Sonoma with tremendous momentum, posting 2 Top Ten finishes in her last 3 races. Her most recent finish of 8th, at Mid-Ohio, was the best of her rookie IZOD IndyCar season. The stakes are high this weekend as the young 21 year old rookie continues in her quest for the 2010 IndyCar Rookie of the Year award.

While Simona has not raced this course prior to this weekend, she and the HVM Racing Team have shown they can adapt quickly to new courses and needed set ups to be very competitive. Coming from a road course background Simona looks forward to muscling the No. 78 Stargate Resistance entry around the 2.303 mile circuit in hopes of once again earning a top-10 finish and closing in on the Rookie of the Year honors.
