Garden State Honda Going Aggressive on Pricing of the All-New Honda CR-Z

The 2011 Honda CR-Z is making its debut Aug. 24, 2010, and Garden State Honda is putting a bold plan in place to make the dealership a standout in CR-Z sales once the vehicle arrives in showroom.

PASSAIC, N.J., Aug. 18 -- Garden State Honda is on its way to surpass competitors, even before results can be measured. The dealership's intense planning for the all-new Honda CR-Z will surely put Garden State Honda in the leadership position for Honda CR-Z sales.

The sport hybrid coupe will appear at dealerships Aug. 24, 2010.

Garden State Honda General Manager Joe Coffey said, "We're really excited about the Honda CR-Z because it has everything our customers want in a compact vehicle. Honda placed a huge emphasis on efficiency and performance, as well as interior and exterior design, and the CR-Z is drawing a lot of positive reviews, mainly because its efficiency is achieved without sacrificing attractiveness or sporty handling."

The two-passenger coupe has a manufacturer's suggested retail price starting at $19,200. "We plan to be very aggressive on pricing and have already instituted the necessary protocol to make it possible for our customers to get the lowest possible price in the area."

The Honda CR-Z is unlike other hybrids produced on a large scale because it's offered with a six-speed manual transmission. The 1.5 liter VTEC 4-cylinder engine and the lightweight Integrated Motor Assist system powers the CR-Z.

Three driving modes of Sport, Normal and Econ, allow drivers to alter the vehicle handling based on conditions. Customers may choose either the CR-Z base model or the CR-Z EX. The base model includes power windows and door locks, remote entry, AM/FM/CD/USB audio system, and more. Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with Voice Recognition is available on the CR-Z EX model along with items such as subwoofer, Bluetooth, and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Garden State Honda has ordered every possible CR-Z available the dealership and is determined to be the CR-Z sales leader in New Jersey.
