Kenny Wallace to run MAMS at MO State Fair

MAMS, ULMA to run topless with Lucas Oil Sprint Bandits

 

SEDALIA, Mo. - NASCAR Nationwide Series veteran and SPEED television analyst
Kenny Wallace will compete in his home state's state fair here Tuesday with
the Mid-America Modified Series. Earlier in the season, Wallace's fellow
Missouri native Ken Schrader took the MAMS victory at the "Historic Half
Mile." Also on the bill are the ULMA late models and the Lucas Oil Sprint
Bandits and, in keeping with the wingless-themed night, both the MAMS and
ULMA series' racers will run without roofs in topless competition. The MAMS
winner will leave Sedalia with a check for $1,200.

 

Also on Tuesday, professional freestyle motocross rider "Cowboy" Kenny
Bertram and Xtreme rider Terry Russell of Jefferson City, Mo., will thrill
the crowd with high-flying two-wheeled action. For more information on

Currently, the MAMS top-ten consists of Brian Bolin, John Allen, Mark
Dotson, Lucas Conley, Johnny Bone, Jr., Austin Siebert, Mickey Burrell,
Dustin Boney, Steve Holzkamper, and Terry Schultz.  In addition to Schrader,
other drivers in attendance that evening included Johnny Fennewald, Jesse
Stovall, and Chad Lyle.  Several of the best dirt racers in the region have
competed with MAMS this year  during weekly W-K Chevrolet Modified action
such drivers as Jim Moody, Jason Thompson, Howard Hall, Rick Kimberling,
Johnny Scott, David Barker, Curt Potter, Jason Bodenhamer, and Rick Beebe.  

 

Admission for Tuesday:  Pit Passes $35, General Admission $27, Senior
Citizens 65+ $25, Military w/I.D. $25, Kids 6-12 $12, children 5 and under
are free!  Gates open 5 p.m. with hot Laps at 7 and races at 7:30.
