Bryant Robertson Grabs Another Win at Bowman Gray

Winston-Salem, NC: With the 2010 season building to its finale at Bowman Gray Stadium, the track continues to deliver a story every week for the Robertson Motorsports Team. Bryant Robertson put the #72 Carolina Wood Floors/Winston-Salem State Motorsport Management Chevrolet into the winner's circle for the second time this season.

Robertson started third in the first of two 20 lap races. As the two leaders battled with each other, it created an opening for the Lexington, NC driver to grab the lead - and he never looked back. It has been a memorable year for the 37 year old, with both wins also being the first wins of his career at the stadium.

"Wow", said Robertson. "What a great year for our whole family. We are really enjoying doing this as a team. This is something we will all remember for a long time".

Bryant Robertson was one of three generations that have taken to the track under the Robertson Motorsports banner this season. Bryant's father, Gerald Robertson, started on the pole in the Stadium Stock division on Saturday, and led the first half of the race before being turned. The race was littered with cautions, and was shortened to just 13 laps.

Bryant's nephew, Ryan Robertson, has also been a regular at the stadium this season, and led the points standings in the Sportsman Division for much of the early part of the year. Ryan drew 19th and finished an impressive 10th in the first 20 lap race in the #23 Law Offices of Timothy D. Welborn/Make-A-Wish Chevrolet. The young driver then started 7th and finished 4th in the second race.

Ryan Robertson still has a mathematical shot at the points title if he finishes strong in the double points race this coming weekend. For the latest news on the entire Robertson Motorsports team, visit www.RyanRobertsonRacing.com.
