New Global Head Of Communications For Jaguar Land Rover

GAYDON, UNITED KINGDOM – Aug 16, 2010: Frank Klaas has joined Jaguar Land Rover as Global Head of Communications.
Klaas, who takes up his position with immediate effect, assumes global responsibility for communications and public affairs activities. He reports directly to Jaguar Land Rover's Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ralf Speth.
With more than 25 years of experience in journalism and business communications, including roles in Germany as a news and current affairs television presenter, Frank Klaas joins Jaguar Land Rover from General Motors Europe, where he was most recently General Director, Opel Communications.
"I have a professional and personal passion for cars and the automotive industry, so to be part of the future of these two iconic brands is an incredible opportunity," commented Klaas.
Married with three children, 51 year-old Klaas is a motorsport enthusiast with successful competition experience in touring car and sports car racing.
