Grand Marshal and Starter Named for Great Clips 300 at Atlanta Motor
Speedway

 

HAMPTON, Ga. (Aug. 10, 2010) - Atlanta Motor Speedway and partner Great
Clips have selected co-Grand Marshals and an Official Starter for the
Great Clips 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series night race at Atlanta Motor
Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 4.

 

Terri Miller, Great Clips vice president of marketing, and Betsy
Clinton, a Great Clips franchisee, will serve as co-Grand Marshals for
the Great Clips 300. The duo will be assisted by a group of children
from the Children's Miracle Network, a national partner of Great Clips.

 

Greg Thomas, an Atlanta-area Great Clips franchisee, will fill the role
of Official Starter for the Great Clips 300 and will wave the green flag
to start the action. 

 

In addition to the roles of Grand Marshal and Official Starter, Great
Clips chief financial officer Steve Overholser will present the winner's
trophy in Atlanta Motor Speedway's Victory Lane.

 

            The biggest Labor Day party in the USA is at Atlanta Motor
Speedway for the Emory Healthcare 500 race weekend on Sept. 3 -5,
including the Great Clips 300 on Saturday, Sept. 4. For more information
