Indy MotoGP Fans Can Bring Kids In Free, Print Ticket At Home

INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 9, 2010: Indianapolis Motor Speedway fans and families have easier access than ever to the Red Bull Indianapolis GP MotoGP event – the most prestigious motorcycle racing in the world – thanks to two new programs announced by IMS: print-at-home reserved seat and Race Day general admission tickets and children age 12 and younger admitted free with the purchase of an adult general admission ticket.

With the 2010 Red Bull Indianapolis GP ticket-pricing format announced almost a year ago, which features three-day and Race Day-only ticket options, the MotoGP World Championship’s annual stop at “The Racing Capital of the World” on Aug. 27-29 is a better value than ever.

Similar to the general admission ticket package offered at the Brickyard 400 NASCAR race in July, any adult who purchases a general admission ticket for Red Bull Indianapolis GP activities – whether a $10 Practice Day (Aug. 27), $20 Qualification Day (Aug. 28), $40 Race Day (Aug. 29) or $60 Three-Day General Admission Ticket – can bring all children in the family ages 12 and younger in free.

All customers, regardless of age, who wish to sit in the reserved seat sections must purchase a ticket.

Fans can now print their Red Bull Indianapolis GP tickets – three-day reserved seat and Race Day-only general admission and reserved seat tickets – with their printer after ordering tickets online at www.imstix.com. Simply order tickets and follow the instructions contained in the ticket-ordering process.

The 2010 MotoGP World Championship is full of great storylines as the Red Bull Indianapolis GP approaches. American riders Ben Spies and Nicky Hayden are both enjoying successful years on their Yamaha and Ducati motorcycles, respectively, while nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi has made a rapid recovery from a severe leg injury and will compete at IMS.
