"Deforest Yourself, Reforest the World" Campaign: Philips Norelco
kicked off the "Deforest Yourself. Reforest the World." campaign on
Arbor Day, April 30th, by teaming with model and actress Carmen Electra
and challenging the hairiest men in New York City to "leaf" nothing to
the imagination for a chance to have their chests "deforested" by the
star herself in front of a crowd in tree-lined Madison Square Park.
Through June 30, 2010, Philips Norelco committed to a donation of
$75,000 - planting a minimum of one tree for every Philips Norelco
Bodygroom product sold, up to 75,000 trees. Visit

Philips Norelco Bodygroom Pro: Philips Norelco Bodygroom Pro is an
innovative, all-in-one dual-end male body grooming system that can be
used wet or dry for shaving and trimming. It was designed to be a
convenient solution for hair removal on all body parts below the neck
while being gentle on skin. The Bodygroom Pro combines a shaver and
five-length trimmer into one unit, eliminating the need for multiple
attachments. Made from hypo-allergenic materials, the revolutionary 3-D
pivoting shaving head and high performance trimmer on Bodygroom Pro were
built for a close, gentle shave and trim, even on the most sensitive
body zones.

McMurray at Michigan: Jamie McMurray will be making his 16th career
NSCS start at Michigan this weekend when he takes the green flag in his
No. 1 Philips Norelco Bodygroom Chevrolet. McMurray's best NSCS start ,
at the track located just south of Detroit, came this year in the first
event at Michigan International Speedway and his first since re-joining
team owner Chip Ganassi at Earnhardt Ganassi Racing. McMurray started
from the outside pole position for the first event at Michigan in 2010.
His best finish came during the second event of 2004, when he finished
fourth. McMurray has one top-five and three top-10 finishes at the
track located Southwest of Detroit.

McMurray History: The Joplin, MO native, 2010 Daytona 500 Champion and
Brickyard 400 winner, has won five NSCS races since he entered the
series near the end of 2002. In his seven years and 279 races at
NASCAR's highest level he has 36 career top-five finishes, 88 top-10
results, and six pole awards. McMurray shocked the racing world in 2002
when he won his first NSCS race while racing for Chip Ganassi in only
his second NSCS start and set a modern-era NASCAR record by becoming the
quickest driver to win a cup race. The 2003 Rookie of the Year has
finished in the top-20 in points in five of his seven seasons on the Cup
circuit with a best finish of 11th in 2004.

Quoteboard:

Jacopo D'Alessandris, Senior Director of Marketing, Philips Consumer
Lifestyle: "Philips Consumer Lifestyle is excited to kick off its
partnership with the Earnhardt Ganassi Racing and Target family at the
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Raceway. We're
really excited about the at-track activation, in the Philips Lounge
where race fans will be able to test-drive Philips most innovative
products. This includes the Philips Norelco Bodygroom Pro men's
trimmer, which was the inspiration for the paint scheme on the No. 1
Earnhardt Ganassi Racing Chevrolet. The Bodygroom Pro will take center
stage on Sunday before the race when male race fans put their
"Manscaping" skills to the test for guest judge, Jamie McMurray. It
should really be an exciting weekend for Philips at Michigan
International Raceway. "

Steve Lauletta, President, Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates:
"We are happy to have the opportunity to introduce another big brand
like Philips Norelco to NASCAR and more specifically to our team. It is
always great when companies like Philips see the value in aligning
themselves with our teams as a means to better meet their marketing
objectives. We have enjoyed the relationship so far and fully expect it
to be one that lasts well into the future."

Jamie McMurray, Driver: "We're excited to be able to represent the
Philips Norelco brand, and their new product, the Bodygroom Pro this
weekend at Michigan. To have a partner like Philips join the Earnhardt
Ganassi Racing family is just proof positive that we are doing the
things needed to draw the attention of a company like Philips Norelco.
We expect good things out of our racecars this weekend at Michigan. We
nearly won the pole here the first time, so I definitely think we will
have the speed to turn some heads there."
