Sheltra returns to “The Point; Cedar Point Amusement Park�?? following a meet-and-greet in support of the ARCA Racing Series; Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care at Toledo (Oh.) Speedway on May 23, where Sheltra earned an eighth place finish. Sheltra, 24 sits unofficially fifth in the ARCA Racing Series championship chase on the heels of six top-five finishes and 10 top-10 finishes in 2010, including a stout runner-up performance in this past Saturday’s night Berlin ARCA 200 at Berlin (Mich.) Raceway. With his efforts at the Marne, Michigan short track, Sheltra is only 60 points from re-inheriting the championship point’s lead. The Indiantown, Florida native is the only driver to hoist 10 top-10 finishes in 12 events run this year. Following Tuesday’s appearance, Sheltra will return to North Carolina and prepare for Sunday’s Garden State ARCA 150 presented by American Red Cross at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the second and final road course event on the 2010 ARCA Racing Series calendar.
