ECOtality President and CEO to Present at Inaugural Needham & Co. Clean Technology Conference

SAN FRANCISCO, August 5, 2010: ECOtality, Inc. , a leader in clean electric transportation and storage technologies, announced today that Jonathan Read, CEO and President of ECOtality, will present at the Needham & Co. Clean Technology Conference in New York on Monday, August 9, 2010, at 1:20 p.m. EDT at the Needham & Company headquarters. The conference is the investment bank's first to focus on the clean technology market and will feature executives from leading smart grid, wind, advanced batteries and electric vehicle companies.
Mr. Read's presentation will focus on the recent launch of Blink, ECOtality's flagship electric vehicle charging stations and the first smart chargers to hit the market. He will also discuss the company's role in The EV Project, which will begin installing the chargers in Fall 2010. As project manager of The EV Project, ECOtality will deploy approximately 15,000 electric vehicle charging stations in 16 cities across six U.S. states, as well as the District of Columbia. The $230 million public-private initiative is funded in part with a $114.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
