Roman, at the controls of Bionic Motorsports Wounded Warrior Project Special presented by Boston Scientific and PEAK Performance Products, was ecstatic over the teams maiden voyage at the challenging 1.5 mile Loring venue. For 2010, we have virtually a whole new set of challenges as we have completely changed our motor to a turbocharged Steve Johnson Racing motor which puts us into a new class with higher speeds,stated Roman. We started out this weekend with the goal of testing and tuningour Lakester and we were quickly able to establish the Loring Land Speed Racing J/BGL class record with a speed that our car has never reached in competition. Roman s record-setting performance at Loring was his sixth Land Speed Record and his first in the J/BGL class.
