Plug-In 2010 - ClipperCreek Announces it has Shipped its 3,000 EVSE

Lots of happenings at ClipperCreek this year. Better than free?

ClipperCreek has shipped 3,000 Electric Vehicle
charging stations since the beginning of
2009. We have the toughest and most trusted
charging stations on the market. All our EVSEs
are built in the USA and are they are immediately
AVAILABLE. ClipperCreek charging stations have
been used by more people to charge more vehicles
for more years than all our competitors combined.

This may explain why ClipperCreek, Inc. is
shipping faster than its competitors can give
their products away. ClipperCreek’s UL listed,
SAE compatible EVSEs are made in Auburn, CA.

Other news you may read in the press this week:

ClipperCreek has started shipping the highest
power EVSE in the industry, the UL listed, 75
Amp, 18 kW, SAE-J1772 compatible unit is perfect
for the large PEVs that are rolling out of a
number of factories. Not only do these units
allow trucks to charge up overnight, but keeping
the truck compatible with SAE-J1772 allows
drivers to top off during the day at, soon to be
numerous, public charging stations. But then, if
you insist on even more power, this August,
ClipperCreek will deliver 3 phase units running
from 21 kW to 36 kW (obviously non-SAE, but to UL
standards). These units will all be built in the USA!

ClipperCreek, Inc. is partnering with Liberty
Plug-Ins to allow for municipalities to be
reimbursed for their electricity. While
ClipperCreek has long spoken out against
excessive subscription services and their
negative affect on the industry, it has always
been in favor of the parking meter model. This
model eliminates high transactional overhead – just what the industry needs.

ClipperCreek is also announcing a relationship
with McNaughton-McKay of Detroit. The 100 year
old electrical distribution company has always
been at the forefront of technology and is once
again leading the industry into electric
transportation. The importance of this step is
the realization that electric cars are here to
stay and will soon be entrenched into every
aspect of our society. Like ClipperCreek, McNaughton-McKay is built in the USA

Watch for our announcement with Silver Spring
Networks during the week… Sorry, that is all I am allowed to say right now!

If you are lucky enough to attend Plug-In 2010
look for our products in various booths around
the show. You will possibly see the only
production EVSEs that are built in the USA.

Thank you,

Dave Packard
