Pierre Garnier appointed Peugeot's Director of International Business Sales

SOCHAUX, France - 20 July, 2010: Pierre Garnier has been appointed Director of International Business Sales, reporting to Vincent Rambaud, Peugeot's managing Director. Marc Giulioli takes over from Pierre Garnier as Director of Marketing for Peugeot in France.

Over the past year, Peugeot has been on the offensive with a policy targeted at business user markets, based on a new sales organisation, a business-oriented vehicle range with low CO2 emissions, dedicated services and service-oriented Business Centres. This offensive has enabled Peugeot to achieve a marked improvement in its sales performance, as shown by the results for the first half-year 2010. With 35 000 additional new vehicle registrations compared with the same period in 2009, the Marque achieved a 1 percentage point increase in its share of the business market. To continue to develop this offensive, Pierre Garnier is taking over from Marcel de Rycker, who now becomes Director of Business Development and Utility Vehicle Sales for PSA Peugeot Citroën.

Marc Giulioli has been appointed Director of Marketing for Peugeot in France, reporting to Olivier Veyrier, Director of Peugeot France.

Pierre Garnier is 46 years old and a graduate of the ESC (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce) in Nantes and the HEC Management School (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales). He has occupied various roles in Peugeot France since joining the group in 1987, including that of Regional Director between 2001 and 2003 and then Managing Director of Peugeot Poland between 2004 and 2007. In 2008, he was appointed Director of Marketing for Peugeot France.

Marc Giulioli is 45 years old and a graduate of the Université Paris IX Dauphine (Master's Degree in Management, Post-graduate diploma in Marketing & Str..
