DETROIT--The Obama administration set the first ever greenhouse gas
emission
limits for US cars. To meet them, gas mileage standards must increase
40
percent to 35.5 miles per gallon. The 3rd
Advanced Lightweight Materials for Vehicles event taking place
August 11 and 12 at the Cobo Convention Center in
Michigan Detroit will
discuss new CAF standards to improve fuel economy and
emissions. This
event will help automotive and vehicle manufacturers step up to the
challenges ahead and apply low cost lightweight materials and
technologies.
