Craig Goess ARCA Racing Series Advance:

Iowa Speedway

Race: Prairie Meadows 200

ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards: 9 of 20

Track: Iowa Speedway

Date: July 10, 2010

Craig Goess and the Eddie
Sharp Racing No. 81 Greenville Toyota of N.C. Toyota will take the track in the
Prairie Meadows 200 at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, July 10, 2010.

Last Race: Michigan: A week after winning his first ARCA Racing
Series race at Pocono Raceway, Goess continued his momentum, as he claimed his
first pole at Michigan International Speedway. He came out on top of practice
early in the day and then claimed the Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell
with a lap of 38.490 seconds (187.062 mph). When the green flag dropped on the Racing
for Wildlife 200, Goess continued to show speed and led 74 of the 100 laps. In
a stroke of bad luck, the caution flag came out when the No. 81 was on pit road,
putting Goess a lap down and ending the team's good day. Goess, a lap down, but
among the leaders, finished sixth.

Goess at Iowa Speedway: Goess
competed last year in his only ARCA Racing Series start at Iowa Speedway.
Starting in the 12thposition, Goess battled transmission and brake
problems throughout the race. After struggling all day, Goess brought the No.
81 to the checkered flag in 12th place. He also competed at the track in 2008 in
the NASCAR K&N
Pro Series East race, where he started in the 13thposition and finished
18thafter the sway bar fell out of the car when the chain broke.
Goess hopes to overcome his bad luck this weekend and bring the No. 81 to
victory lane at Iowa Speedway.

In the Points: Goess' pole and sixth-place finish helped him move up one spot in
 the
ARCA Racing Series point standings to the fourth position. He is
now 60 points behind Mikey Kile in the third position and 135 points behind points
leader Patrick Sheltra.

SPEED Broadcast: The Prairie Meadows 200 will be the sixth of 10 races on the ARCA
Racing
Series schedule to be broadcast on SPEED Channel. The live race coverage
begins at 8 p.m. CDT (9 p.m. EST). Live streaming audio will be also featured
on the ARCA Racing Network at www.arcaracing.com [http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?et=1103465011890&s=1240&e=001d9vofkXKY6C3pJqbbb8yOY11fTjMezjI3Q0jZQuspozLVD0V9GuF7R9fVe7yIPjg6cDDaOfCpv0qmKDQPbEIdfU7B8UHVLmW1lLpqzfplA_-SWgadrOKZA==]
with scoring and timing at 8 p.m. CDT.

QUOTES

Goess on running at Iowa Speedway

"I love this track. The
location is unique in that there is nothing else around it. Iowa Speedway has a
great crowd every time we go there, which is one of the reasons I love racing
there. I think Iowa Speedway has some of the best fans around, and everyone is
always so into the race when we are there. This weekend with the companion race
with the NASCAR Truck Series race, I can't imagine what it is going to be like.
I also love racing at night. Running under the lights is pretty awesome, so I'm
thrilled for this weekend."

Goess on strategy for the
weekend

"We are
running a different car than we did last year, which I hope will have a better
result. I think this weekend we are going to have to be spot on because I know
some of the other ARCA Racing Series drivers have been testing during our free
weeks. I also know there is going to be a large field of cars and a lot of
drivers who don't race with ARCA every week. The main thing is to go out there
and not beat ourselves. We are going to make improvements on the car, continue
good communication and build on that to make the No. 81 Toyota of N.C. even
better.
