Many will have fireworks as part of their racing action. Here is a look to what is happening. ASA SERIES ASA MIDWEST TRUCK TOUR (Madison International Speedway, Oregon, WI) The trucks return to the track that once had Midwest Trucks as part of their weekly program. They will be a part of a great night of racing with the Big 8 Series and the weekly MIS divisions. The big question is...will someone other than Jerry or John Wood win? www.trucks.asamidwesttour.com ISCARS DASH TOURING SANCTIONED BY ASA (Hickory Motor Speedway, Hickory, NC) The compact stars return to the famed speedway for a twin feature event this Saturday night. Legends and East Coast Flat Heads will also be competing. Joey Jones and Danny Bagwell were the recent winners at Dillon Motor Speedway. www.iscarsonline.com ASA INTERSTATE RACING ASSOCIATION SPRINT CAR SERIES (Cedar Lake Speedway, New Richmond, WI) The fast 410 Winged Sprints will be in action twice this weekend. On Friday night, they visit the fast half-mile at Dodge County Fairgrounds in Beaver Dam, WI for the Sue Thiel Memorial. Then on Saturday, they will travel down to Wilmot Speedway for the Wayne Daun/Al & Marie Winker Memorial. www.irasprints.org ASA MEMBER TRACKS ACE SPEEDWAY (Elon, NC) Will return to action on Friday, July 9th with a full racing program. www.acespeedway.com BIG COUNTRY SPEEDWAY (Cheyenne, WY) Will return to action on Saturday, July 10th. (Wisconsin Dells, WI) The North American Cup 50 for the Late Models and Fireworks from Thundercat Fireworks will highlight the action this Saturday night. The Sportsman, Pure Stocks, Bandits and Six Shooters will also be competing. Fan gates open at 4 p.m., qualifying at 4:30 p.m., racing at 6:30 p.m. www.dellsracewaypark.com DESOTO SUPER SPEEDWAY (Bradenton, FL) The annual Crash & Bash will take place this Saturday night. (Lebanon, MO) There will be fireworks both on and off the track this Saturday night as the annual 4th of July Fireworks show returns to the Lebanon I-44 Speedway. (Coeburn, VA) The UARA Late Models will compete in a 150-lap feature this Saturday night along with Twin Legends, Street Stocks, Chargers, Pure 4 and Renegades. (Oregon, WI) The skies over MIS will light up on Friday, July 2 when Gordie Boucher presents the annual Fireworks Extravaganza orchestrated by ThunderCat Fireworks. You can't afford to miss the area's best fireworks display and you won't get any closer to the action than at MIS. Highlighting the racing program will be the Big 8 Late Model Series with a 48 lap feature. Over 40 cars are expected to battle it out on the half-mile for a spot in the feature. Also in action will be the ASA Midwest Truck Tour, Club LaMark Hobby Stocks, and International Four Cylinders all on the half-mile. Pit gates on Friday open at 3:30 with practice at 4:45, qualifying at 6:15 and racing at 7:30. On Sunday, the City of Meridian presents a Fireworks Spectacular with Winged Sprint Cars, Pepsi Sprint Cars, Vintage Sprint Cars, Street Stocks and Hornets. (Norway, MI) Start your Independence Day weekend in the U.P. of Michigan with a great night of racing and fireworks. A full racing program is scheduled with fireworks after racing. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m. www.norwayspeedway.com ORANGE SHOW SPEEDWAY (San Bernardino, CA) There's going to be a Raging Inferno at Orange Show Speedway Saturday night (July 3). There'll be a whole lot of trashed trailers, too. There's no reason for concern, though, no need to call the police or fire departments, because it will all be part of Best in the West Racing's Independence Day weekend show at the ASA Member Track adjacent to the National Orange Show. The JAM Sportswear Late Models, Team Too Pony Stocks and USAC Ford Focus Midgets and Jr. Midgets will supply the serious racing activity, the Raging Inferno will provide its own version of a fireworks show, and the evening will come to a close with another wildly entertaining and incredibly popular Figure 8 Trailer race that is expected to attract about 18 entries. Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m., with an on-track autograph session from 5:50 to 6:30 p.m. and the first race at 7 p.m. Tickets are priced at $10 for general admission and $8 for seniors (60 and older), students 11 to 18 and military personnel with valid identification. Children 10 and under are admitted free. (West Valley City, UT) Super Modified Racing Association's Super Modifieds will return to Rocky Mountain Raceways for the Copper Cup Classic on Saturday, July 3 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. RMR classes that will also be racing include Maverik Modifieds, DEX Mini Cups, Focus Midgets, Figure 8 Cars and Western States Equipment Figure 8 Trains. Following the races, fans will enjoy a firework spectacular celebrating the Fourth of July. Adult admission is $20 and youth (5-12) are $10.
