Nick Parker of Rocky Mountain Raceway in West Valley City, UT finds his way at the top of the standings but has Orange Show Speedway's Toni McCray chasing him down. Parker has been close throughout the chase so far and it was only a matter of time before he would make it to the top. He is also in a close points battle at RMR as he is only twelve points ahead of Brian Wordelman in the track standings. He has an average of 1.9942 while McCray, who competes at the quarter-mile track in San Bernardino, CA, is not that far behind with an average of 1.9508. McCray is on a hot streak at Orange Show as she won the last two feature events. This past January, she almost won the ASA Free State 500 at the Phakisa Freeway Circuit in Welkom, Free State, South Africa but was passed in the final corner by Great Britain's John Mickel, who took home the win. McCray settled for second. She is currently tied for the points lead at Orange Show with Logan Mainella, who has an average of 1.9093 which is fourth overall. Rodney Cook has been the dominant car at Ace Speedway in Elon, NC and it is showing in the standings as he is third overall with an average of 1.9195. Last week's leader Corey Jankowski of Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells, WI has the fifth highest average of 1.8506. "Fans have always said that an exciting race is where they see a lot of passing and lead changes. Well they are seeing that here in the Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil ASA Member Track National Championship standings," Dennis Huth, ASA President said.
