Robertson Motorsports Holds Strong in Sixty Lap at Bowman Gray

Winston-Salem, NC:  Robertson Motorsports was ready to perform again Saturday night at Bowman Gray Stadium.   This sixty lap race was the second of two Sportsman division races this season with the double file restart rule.

"The longer races and the double file restart require a little more strategy than our two twenty lap races.  We had several cautions tonight so we were able to put those strategies to work," said Ryan Robertson, driver of the #23 Timothy D. Welborn/Make-A-Wish Chevrolet.

Ryan Robertson started the race in sixth place and finished seventh.  With only eight races left in the season, Ryan is holding on to first place in the points standings by 14 points.

Bryant Robertson, driver of the #72 Carolina Wood Floors/Winston-Salem State University Chevrolet, started the race in sixteenth place and finished seventeenth.

"The Carolina Wood Floors/WSSU Chevrolet has been performing well this season.  We have had some tough luck with draw position and a couple of spin-outs.  We are looking forward to making a push in the points the rest of the season," said Bryant Robertson.

There will be no racing at Bowman Gray Stadium this weekend, but Robertson Motorsports will be at Florence Motor Speedway in Florence, South Carolina. The #31 Law Offices of Timothy D. Welborn/Make-A-Wish Chevrolet and the #36 Carolina Wood Floors/Make-A-Wish Chevrolet will be in action with Scott Hall and AJ Sanders behind the wheel.  Bowman Gray Stadium will resume on July 10th, with double points awarded in all divisions.
