VEMME KART ON TOP AT WESTERN CANADIAN ROK SERIES

 "Marcus Brodie puts Vemme Kart on the top step of the podium...again!"

 

June 28, 2010 - Marcus Brodie and his Vemme Kart team travelled to Regina
Saskatchewan, Canada for the first and second rounds of the Western Canadian
Rok Cup Series where they left victorious yet again. Competing with his Rok
powered Vemme Kart, Brodie managed to claim the pole position and main event
victories in demanding fashion and will head to the final pair of rounds in
British Columbia as the overall point leader.

 

 "We started the weekend off with quite a few motor troubles, but we were
able to get it sorted out by qualifying on Saturday. From there one,
everything went smoothly," expressed Marcus Brodie upon the completion of
the weekend's action. "I can't thank both Vince and Lorenzo Mandarino along
with Vemme Kart enough for putting together an exceptionally solid kart that
was very quick throughout all the races on Saturday and Sunday. The chassis
performed flawlessly and we ended with excellent results. I would like to
send an extra special thank you to Lorenzo for his incredible tuning
abilities. He did an awesome job."

 

With the last minute deal coming together the week of the event and with no
testing leading up to the weekend, Brodie and his tuner Lorenzo Mandarino
were behind the eight ball. To further the problem, rain throughout Friday's
test session and motor issues hampered any good testing.

 

After working through the problems and the weather passing, Brodie would
prove to be the man to beat as he claimed the pole position on Saturday
morning. Looking to make a mark in the Rok Series, Brodie went undefeated on
the weekend claiming heat race wins and the main event victories throughout
the two day event. Utilizing the new Vemme Kart VM32, Brodie and Mandarino
were on top of their game when the official on track action began to take
place. With the weather finally settled down, the duo was able to work well
together and dominate the racing action.

 

The championship winner at the Western Canadian Rok Series will receive an
all expense paid trip to the Rok World Finals held later this year in
Lonato, Italy.

 

Brodie continued, "I am excited that we were able to gather as many points
as possible and look forward to the last weekend of the Western Canadian Rok
Cup series in Quesne,l BC."
