Here is a look at what is happening over the next five days in ASA Racing. Many of the ASA Member Tracks will have fireworks displays as part of their racing program over the next three weekends. ASA SERIES ASA MIDWEST TOUR (Madison International Speedway, Oregon, WI) In it's five year history, The Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge presented by Rockweiler Insulation has been a stand alone Super Late Model event. This year, it is an ASA Midwest Tour sanctioned event and Matt Kenseth & Tony Stewart will be competing against the best Midwest Super Late Model drivers on Tuesday, June 29th. Gates open at noon, qualifying at 4 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m. www.asamidwesttour.com ASA MIDWEST SPORTSMAN TOUR (Elko Speedway, Elko, MN & Madison International Speedway, Oregon, WI) The top Midwest Sportsman drivers will make their first trip to Minnesota this Saturday night to be a part of the Annual Thunderstruck 93 event. Chris Marek will be looking for his third win in a row in the series. They will then travel to Madison International Speedway on Tuesday, June 29th to run in support of The Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge event. www.sportsman.asamidwesttour.com ASA INTERSTATE RACING ASSOCIATION SPRINT CAR SERIES (Cedar Lake Speedway, New Richmond, WI) It will be another busy weekend of traveling for the high-flying 410 Winged Sprints. On Friday, June 25th they will be competing at Kankakee Motor Speedway in Kankakee, IL then they will travel up to Wisconsin on Saturday, June 26th and compete at Sheboygan County Fair Park. www.irasprints.org ASA MEMBER TRACKS ACE SPEEDWAY (FIREWORKS!!!) (Elon, NC) Join us this Friday, June 25th for The Summer Sizzler 225 with the Dick Shirley Chevrolet Late Models (100 laps), Chick-Fil-A Modifieds, Burlington Motors Limited Sportsman (Twin 20), King's Auto Salvage Extremes and Street Stocks. The high flying pastors will join a full racing program that consists of the Rockweiler Insulation Late Models, Ho Chunk Area Sportsman, Club LaMark Hobby Stocks, Roto Rooter Bandits, and Pellitteri Waste Systems Legends and will be part of Construction Labor Management Night at the track. The heated points chase in the Maverik Modifieds and Young Automotive Rocky Mountain Sprint Series will also resume with mere points separating the leader boards. #30 Nick Parker leads the Maverik Modifieds with a 35 point lead over #7 Bryan Wordelman. #00 Jimmy Wysong leads the Young Automotive Rocky Mountain Sprint Series with a 20 point lead over #24 Jimmy.
