ASA MEMBER TRACKS HAVE JUST ONE WORD....FIREWORKS!!!!

American Speed Association PR
DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Wednesday, June 23, 2010) - No matter where it happens, a fireworks
display will capture the attention of anyone at any age. Many of the ASA Member
Tracks will be celebrating the Independence Day holiday by putting on some of the
best fireworks displays around and some are starting to celebrate this weekend!
Even though baseball has been known as "America's Pastime," short track racing also
ranks up there as being a great American tradition where the sport has transcended
from generation to generation. Most tracks also have their traditions and for many,
one of their nights occurs during this time of the year when they help celebrate
America's birthday with their own special fireworks display.
A majority of the ASA Member Tracks are planning to host a fireworks display as
part of their racing program over the next few weeks. There are a few that would
like to but due to dry weather or other circumstances they are not able to host
a display, but instead will have their own fireworks with the racing action on the
track.
"Everyone loves fireworks and our ASA Member Tracks do a great job in providing
the best displays around," Dennis Huth, ASA President said. "What is unique is
that you have a great seat to see an aerial display in the sky. I would encourage
all race fans and firework fans to visit their local short tracks to support the
great entertainment they are providing on the track and in the sky."
Here is a sneak preview of the ASA Member Tracks hosting a fireworks display over
