Honda And Evans Ready For A Barossa Thrash

TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – June 21, 2010: The Evans Motorsport Honda Civic Type R is ready and raring to attack Round Four of the Australian Rally Championship, the Scouts Rally in South Australia from June 25 to 27.

Driver Eli Evans says the Civic Type R has been completely re-built since it crashed out on the final stage of the Coffs Coast Rally in May, while running in third place.

“The car needed a fair bit of work to get it right for South Australia. The boys at Evans Motorsport have been working around the clock.

“I want to thank them for all their hard work over the last few weeks to make sure the Honda is ready for action.

“I’m certainly looking forward to shattering the tranquility of the forests of the Barossa with 8,000 rpm of Honda VTEC,” Eli said.

The Scouts Rally takes place from June 25 to 27 in the Barossa Valley, South Australia.
