Volkswagen Vans Create a Foursquare Swarm at GTI International

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles<http://www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk/> is inviting visitors to the GTI International event on 26 and 27 June who use the latest location-based social networking phenomenon, Foursquare, to check-in at its stand to get a free Volkswagen T-shirt or poster.  If enough people check-in, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles could create the largest Foursquare social gathering in the UK and earn a Foursquare 'swarm' badge for everyone taking part.

GTI International is the UK's biggest event for enthusiasts of all high-performance vehicles from the Volkswagen Group and takes place at the Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground near Leicester.  Visitors can camp overnight, enter their pride and joy in a 'show 'n' shine', take part in a quarter-mile sprint and visit a range of exhibition stands.

The bright orange Volkswagen RAC Caddy<http://www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk/caddy/> Racer van which is currently competing in the Volkswagen Racing Cup<http://www.vw-cup.co.uk/> will be a high profile attraction among Volkswagen's display of its latest models, which also includes the new Caravelle<http://www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk/caravelle/> people carrier and California<http://www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk/california/> campervan.

To be eligible for a free Volkswagen T-shirt or poster, register or login at www.foursquare.com, then check-in to the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles official Foursquare location at GTI International on either day of the event and show that you have done this to a member of the Volkswagen stand staff.  Only one T-shirt or poster is available per individual that checks-in (while stocks last).

In addition, visitors will be able to follow Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' latest tweets from the event at www.twitter.com/volkswagen_cv, and also be able to enter a competition to win a weekend in a California campervan.
