Last year, Jacob Goede and Mark Kraus put on a great battle for the lead throughout the event with Goede picking up the win. Ross, 21, has won the past two races and four of five overall to build an 8-point leader over reigning champion Mark Shackleford. This race marks the halfway point in the 12-race season for the Super Late Models, who will be joined by the Stock Cars USA, Budweiser Legends Cars, M.C. Erectors Bandoleros, Stock OHV Karts and Dwarf Cars.
