POSITION ONE MOTORSPORTS DRIVERS SHOW SPEED AT PRO KART CHALLENGE NORTH

 "Three podiums"

June 14, 2010 - Position One Motorsports (POM) returned to racing action
this past weekend at the fourth round of the Pro Kart Challenge North
program at the Jim Russell International Karting Center in Sonoma,
California. Entering four drivers, the team walked away with three podium
results as they flexed their muscles proving that they are one of the
premiere karting operations in the western half of the United States.

"The team had a very strong outing," expressed Team Coordinator Colin
McGinnis. "We had a little bad luck in one of the main events that took us
out of contention for the win but to leave a Superkarts! USA sanctioned
event with three podiums is something to be proud of."

Position One Motorsports would enter two front running pilots in the ultra
competitive TaG division as Bobby Kelley and Nick Johnston would look to
battle for the top step of the podium. Both drivers would use Motori 7
powered Maddox chassis and would work together all weekend to ensure they
were at the front of the pack.

The day would start off well for Kelley as he managed to turn the third
quickest time in the morning qualifying session but was elevated to the
second position after his Position One Motorsports teammate would be forced
to start from the tail of the field. After qualifying on the front row,
Johnston was disqualified for a pit violation and would be forced to show
his natural skills and abilities as he looked to drive through the field of
talented drivers.

Utilizing the two heat format to set up starting positions for the main
event, Kelley would have some strong runs and go on to score a pair of solid
heat race victories. Johnston, starting from the tail of the field, would
drive forward in both heats to finish fourth in the first one, and second in
the second heat providing Position One Motorsports with a solid one - two
finish in the second of two heat races.

The TaG Senior main event would provide some great racing action as the pair
of Position One Motorsports pilots would battle in the top three. After
leading for a few laps, Johnston would be relegated to the third position
before breaking a chain and being forced to retire from the event.
Californian Bobby Kelley, who looked to score the win, challenged for the
lead on several occasions but would come up one position short and would be
the bridesmaid in Sonoma.

Competing in the KPV2 class was Avanti driver Jared Wolff who would start
his attack on a race win from the outside second row after qualifying in the
fourth position. After progressing through the heat races nicely, Wolff
would steer his Position One Motorsports Avanti to a solid third place
podium result and the third podium for the team on the weekend.

Junior driver Devin Sanchez would be the lone Position One Motorsports pilot
in the TaG Junior class as he would utilize a Parilla Leopard powered Avanti
chassis in his hunt for victory. After qualifying in the fourth position,
Sanchez would follow in the footsteps of Bobby Kelly as he drove forward in
both heat races to score the victories. Looking to continue his success in
the main event, Sanchez battled hard with a trio of drivers as the racing
action heated up. Changing positions each and every lap, Sanchez would
complete the final lap in the third position but would be rewarded with a
second place result after post race technical inspection.
