2010 Canadian GP Sold-Out (05)

News Update For Immediate Release

Tickets for the Next Year's Grand Prix To Go On Sale Tomorrow

2010 Canadian Grand Prix Packs Sold-Out Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

Montréal, June 10, 2010 - Octane Racing Group,
promoter of the Canadian Grand Prix, is happy to
announce that this weekend's event will held in
front of a sold-out crowd. At 3 p.m. today
(Thursday), the box office closed operations for
the most important sporting event in Canada. On
Friday June 11, tickets for the 2011 Canadian
Grand Prix will go on sale at the Grand Prix box
office. In other good news, fans will not only be
offered a great selection of available seats by
ordering immediately, but tickets will be
obtainable at the same 2010 price, which were the
same as 2008. Organizers of the Grand Prix are
extending this special offer to their customers
until July 31 inclusively. Afterward, ticket
prices will be adjusted.

"We are of course very pleased with the public
response," said François Dumontier, President of
the Canadian Grand Prix and of Octane Racing
Group and promoter of the event. "Local fans,
obviously proud of their Grand Prix, were quick
to respond when we announced ticket sales last
December, and we soon realized that they were not
going to stay away from something they
appreciate. Then, over the course of the
following months, we received huge fan response
from abroad, which pleasantly surprised us. Our
ticket sales in Europe were exceptional, and this
is a testimony to the appeal of our event in
traditional Formula 1 markets. There are
thousands of connoisseurs who have for years
watched the Canadian Grand Prix broadcast from
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and were now ready to
cross the ocean to witness a Formula 1 Grand
Prix, Montréal style. We are going to welcome
them, as we do with all other fans, with warmth
and enthusiasm. And I invite Montrealers to do
the same."

Starting tomorrow, Friday June 11, race fans will
be able to purchase tickets for the 2011 Canadian
Grand Prix at either the Grand Prix box office
located next to Métro Station Jean-Drapeau on Ile
Sainte-Hélène, by calling 514 350-0000 or by
going online to www.circuitgillesvilleneuve.ca.
Fans who purchase their tickets before July 31,
2010 can save between $10 to $45 on grandstands
tickets and $5 on general admission.

A Canadian company established in Montreal,
Octane Racing Group Inc. is the promoter of the
FORMULA 1 CANADIAN GRAND PRIX by virtue of an
agreement made with Formula One Administration
Limited and Formula 1 World Championship Limited
(together the holder of commercialization rights
to F1).
