Champion Eaters to Storm Raceway Park NJ for the Little Jimmy's National Italian Ice Eating Championship

ELIZABETH, N.J., June 10 -- As the East Coast recovers from one of its harshest winters, Little Jimmy's Italian Ice and the New York based ALL PRO Eating are shivering with excitement as they announce the first ever Little Jimmy's National Italian Ice Eating Championship which will take place on June 19th, 2010 at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey at 6pm.

Italian Ice and eating competitions have been around for centuries but this will be one of the most chilling events this year. Little Jimmy's Ice will be providing it's 75 year old fashioned recipe of Italian ices which consists of a water-based, fat-free, dairy-free, cholesterol-free, and high fructose corn syrup-free gourmet dessert of many flavors including lemon, strawberry, cherry and orange but also some more adventurous flavors like chocolate, vanilla, iced tea and root beer. It has the creaminess of sherbet or ice cream and never contains any dairy or non-dairy creamer and is produced in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

The competition will take place as part of Raceway Park's 35th Annual Snap on Tools Night of Thrills. In addition to the eating competition, the night will be jam packed with motorsports and fun for the whole family, including jet cars blazing down the quarter-mile track at over 300 mph, wheel-standers, and pro mods. And don't forget everyone's favorite - Monster Trucks! Crowd favorites like Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, and Monster Mutt will be on hand to steal the show with mayhem and car crushing action under the lights, this event is not to be missed!

Several well credentialed food warriors are expected to compete for the title of National Italian Ice Eating Champion and $1,100 in prize money. Included in the competitive eaters are Ian "The Invader" Hickman, "Sweet" Jill Stoler, Kevin "Hurls" Hurley, Kin Van Laar, Paul "Pork Slap" Acaria, and Chris "The American" Schlesinger. The event emcee will be none other than Arnie "Chowhound" Chapman and Mike "Sisco-Kid" Sisco.
