at facilities in Concord, N.C. and Indianapolis
CONCORD, N.C. (June 9, 2009) - Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix
Sabates and GE Lighting announce today that the GE Reveal(r) Light Bulb
brand will be the primary sponsor on the No. 1 Chevrolet, driven by 2010
Daytona 500 Champion, Jamie McMurray at the June 13 NASCAR Sprint Cup
Series (NSCS) race at Michigan International Speedway.
In conjunction with GE's paint scheme on the No.1 Chevrolet, GE will
also provide Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates and Target Chip
Ganassi Racing with new lighting fixture and bulb technologies for
installation in their Concord, N.C. and Indianapolis, Ind. facilities.
The No. 1 Chevrolet Impala's bright blue design draws inspiration from
the blue coloring of an unlit GE Reveal(r) light bulb. Race fans should
be sure to look for the iconic GE script logo on the hood of the No. 1
Chevy along with the rainbow-hued logo of GE Reveal(r) running down the
car's quarter panels.

Reveal(r) family, GE Reveal compact fluorescent light bulbs. Now you can
enjoy the Clean, Beautiful Light(r) of Reveal longer than ever before!

o USES 73% - 78% LESS ENERGY, compared with incandescent Reveal
bulbs.

8,000 hours), 8 to 10 TIMES LONGER than the standard incandescent bulbs.
McMurray at Michigan: Jamie McMurray will be making his 15th career
NSCS start at Michigan this weekend when he takes the green flag in his
No. 1 GE Reveal(r) Chevrolet. McMurray's best NSCS start and subsequent
finish came during the second Michigan race in 2004 when he started 15th
and finished fourth. McMurray has one top-5 and four top-10 finishes in
the NSCS at the track located just southwest of Detroit.
McMurray History: The Joplin, MO native, and newly crowned 2010 Daytona
500 Champion, has won four NSCS races since he entered the series near
the end of 2002. In his seven years and 272 races at NASCAR's highest
level he has 34 career top-five finishes, 84 top-10 results, and five
pole awards. McMurray shocked the racing world in 2002 when he won his
first NSCS race while racing for CGRFS in only his second NSCS start and
set a modern-era NASCAR record by becoming the quickest driver to win a
cup race. The 2003 Rookie of the Year has finished in the top-20 in
points in five of his seven seasons on the Cup circuit with a best
finish of 11th in 2004.

Ganassi Racing Teams' commitment to Energy Saving Lighting solutions
from GE is a trend we hope to see throughout the racing Industry and who
better to start it than Chip Ganassi Racing Teams. We are proud to be

and continue to praise them for their commitment to drive energy
efficiency throughout their organizations."
Steve Lauletta, President, Chip Ganassi Racing Teams, Inc.: We are
thrilled to have General Electric back with us this year as a partner.
They are an exceptional organization that also brings an expertise that
will directly benefit our whole operation. We always try to be as
efficient as we can with everything we do and with the new energy
program that GE has created for us will also make us more energy
efficient. Although the lighting project is only a small step toward
environmental efficiency, we think every little bit counts and encourage
other organizations to do the same."
Jamie McMurray, Driver: "I can't say enough about carrying the iconic
GE logo on the hood of my Chevrolet this weekend in Michigan. GE is one
of those iconic American brands and to be able to represent such a
