J.D. Power and Associates to Release 2010 Initial Quality Study Results at the Detroit Athletic Club on Thursday, June 17
J.D. Power and Associates will announce the results of its 2010 Initial Quality Study (IQS) at a press conference on Thursday, June 17 at the Detroit Athletic Club.

Held in conjunction with the Automotive Press Association, the press conference will begin with registration at 11 a.m. ET, followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the revealing of IQS results from noon to 1 p.m. The IQS results are embargoed until 1 p.m. ET.
David Sargent, vice president of global vehicle research at J.D. Power and Associates, will present the IQS findings.
Considered the benchmark study for new-vehicle quality in the automotive industry, the study highlights the three highest-ranked vehicles in each of the car and light-truck segments; the three highest ranked assembly plants in North/South America, Asia Pacific and Europe; and full nameplate rankings.
Attending media should park in the DAC garage. Additionally, the DAC requires men to wear coats and ties, while women should wear appropriate business attire. Denim is not allowed.
