CAPPS GOES FOR SECOND E'TOWN VICTORY
Capps will compete in Prelude to the Dream tonight. See Preview on SPEED
Channel tonight before HBO PPV

CARLSBAD, Calif. (June 9, 2010) - Driving the NAPA Batteries Dodge Charger
again at this weekend's 41st annual NHRA SuperNationals in Englishtown,
N.J., Ron Capps is looking for his second victory at this historic event,
the second of a string of four in a row in the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag
Racing Series.

"We're in the middle of a multi-race swing on the East Coast before we get a
break and go to the West Coast," said Capps, who won in Englishtown in 2006
and currently is sixth in the point standings. "We saw conditions in Chicago
last weekend with the weather coming in and that threw curve balls to the
crew chiefs, so we're eager to see what the Englishtown race will bring.

"I've talked many times about how historic this race is at Old Bridge
Township Raceway Park. As a kid growing up in California I always wanted to
race there, and to finally win it was something that I had only dreamed
about.

"They do such a great job getting the track prepped and ready. I think, if
the conditions warrant it, we'll see great elapsed times. We always have a
Friday night session there and it's the closest we get to getting fans from
the New York City area. It's a race we definitely all look forward to, and
it's still one of the biggest races on the tour.

"In Chicago last weekend, we slipped a little bit. We're still doing a some
experimenting and it's a learning curve right now. It was great to see my
teammate Matt Hagan win. We work real close together with that team and they
did a great job."

Capps was also runner-up in 2003 and 2005 in Englishtown.
