"Pocono isn't quite my home track, but it's the closest place NASCAR races to where I grew up in New York. New Jersey Motorsports Park is the closest track in ARCA, but Pocono isn't that much further so I should have some friends and family show up for support." What do you think about Pocono Raceway? "I raced at Pocono last season, and it was one of my toughest tracks. It is the most 'unique' oval, or more of a triangle, that I have ever raced on." Does having past experience at Pocono give you confidence heading into this weekend's race? "This year I have a lot more confidence and a sense of feel in the racecar. I'm getting a lot closer to being able to understand what these cars need in terms of a solid setup for when the tires wear. In 2008, Tim George Jr. was named Rolex Series MESCO "Building for the Future" Rookie-of-the-Year, while driving for The Racer's Group. He has two GT class podium finishes in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, finishing third in 2008 and second in 2009. The 29-year old driver made his transition to stock cars running full-time in 2009 in the ARCA Racing Series for Eddie Sharp Racing, finishing 11th in the point standings with one top-5, two top-10 and six top-15 finishes.
