Atlanta Motor Speedway Adds Late Model Race and Pre-Race Concert to
Friday of Labor Day NASCAR Night Racing Weekend

HAMPTON, Ga. (June 3, 2010) - Atlanta Motor Speedway has added a 150-lap
late-model race and pre-race concert with Drivin' N Cryin' to Friday,
Sept. 3 as part of the track's Labor Day NASCAR night racing weekend.

The event will feature a 150-lap format on Atlanta Motor Speedway's
quarter-mile "Thunder Ring" and is sanctioned by the Southern Superstars
Short Track Series. The event will feature an 8:45 p.m. start time.

In addition to the racing action, the night's activities will begin with
a driver question-and-answer session at 6:00 p.m., followed by a concert
by Georgia-based southern rockers Drivin' N Cryin' at 6:35 p.m.

"Last year's two-day Labor Day night racing weekend was extremely
popular but we had many requests to add a third night of racing on
Friday night," said Atlanta Motor Speedway president Ed Clark. "On the
heels of a great Modified race in March, we decided to add a short-track
race in addition to the driver question-and-answer session and a great
pre-race concert with Georgia's own Drivin' N Cryin'."

Admission to the event is free for fans holding tickets to Saturday's
Great Clips 300 Nationwide Series race and Sunday, Sept. 5's NASCAR
Sprint Cup Series race. Friday-only tickets can be purchased for just
$10.

"This is a great opportunity for the Southern Superstars Short Track
Series and our drivers to compete at such a great track. Atlanta Motor
Speedway is a beautiful racing facility, which last year brought back
night racing in the South on Labor Day weekend," said Series promoter BJ
Parker.

"I know our drivers are really honored to be included in the Labor Day
weekend races," added Series racing director Ray Tennyson. "To be able
to kick off the weekend with the race on Friday night under the lights
is truly a once in a lifetime experience for all of us."
