Hundreds of Choppers Take Over PCH to Support the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, Calif.--More than 500 riders will come together on Saturday, June 26, 2010, for the 13th annual Ride the Coast charity motorcycle event that raises money for the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana. Ride the Coast is the only police-escorted ride in Orange County, California. The 70-mile ride starts at the Santa Ana Auto Mall, guides choppers through the canyons of Orange County, down to the coast and ends at the Irvine Lake Blues Festival where riders can enjoy food, drink and live entertainment.
With the Los Angeles Love Ride – what was the largest one-day motorcycle event in the world -- cancelled due to the challenging economy, Ride the Coast hopes to attract even more riders this year.
The ride starts at 10 a.m. with registration at 8:30 a.m.
The
cost is $40 for riders and $30 for co-riders. Entrance into the
Irvine Lake Blues Festival is free for registered riders/co-riders.
