BRENTWOOD, UNITED KINGODM – May 27, 2010: Ford is official vehicle supplier to the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, which has its final in Olso, Norway, on Saturday. With a fleet of 40 vehicles, Ford is the exclusive transportation provider for the organisers, artists and celebrities.

At the contest Ford is showcasing its latest vehicle line-up, including the new S-MAX and Galaxy, Mondeo, Kuga and Transit buses. The fleet consists of vehicles painted either white or black, displaying the Eurovision Song Contest logo “Share the Moment”.

The Eurovision Song Contest this year marks its 50th anniversary. Norway won in 1985, when the female group Bobbysocks sang “Let it swing” in Gothenburg. Band member Hanne Krogh is pictured delivering the Ford's Eurovision vehicle supply, including the new 2.0-litre 203PS Ford S-MAX.

“When we won in 1985 Ford gave us invaluable help regarding transportation. Among other things Ingvar Sviggum, Ford's European vice-president for marketing, sales and service today – who was managing director of Ford Norway then – made it possible for us to drive an Escort Cabriolet specially painted in the band's deep pink colour,” said Hanne.
