Indianapolis, May 6, 2010: Noblesville High School student, Conor Daly, emerged fastest of all after two days of testing on the oval track at O'Reilly Raceway Park, Indianapolis, May 5th & 6th. Conor's time in the morning session of day two, set an unofficial outright lap record of 20.187. The existing official outright lap record of 20.298, was set in 2000 by Jason Leffler. The test is in preparation for the "Night before the 500" event, May 29th, where Daly will race in front of a home crowd for the first time since moving from karts to race cars. "This was a big test for the team and for me personally. There's a magic to oval track racing in Indy and The Night before the 500 will be hectic so it was good to get a reasonable baseline....now lets move on to graduation" said Daly.

Daly is coming off the biggest win of his career, having dominated on the streets of St Petersburg, Florida, starting from the pole and leading every lap of the Indy car support event.

Daly’s next "event" will be his high school graduation from Heritage Christian School, May 14th. He will then head to California for the third round of the Formula Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear at Mazda Raceway, Laguna Seca, California, May 16th. Daly, who drives for Juncos Racing, currently leads the Formula Star Mazda championship presented by Goodyear following his pole position and race win at the last race on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida.

In 2009 Daly finished third in the Formula Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear as a member of the MAZDASPEED driver development ladder system. In 2008 he won the Walter Hayes Formula Ford Trophy in England for Team USA, the Ontario Formula Ford Rookie of the Year title and the Mazda Skip Barber National Championship. Daly is sponsored by: INDECK, The College Network, Merchant Services LTD and Tom Lange Company with additional support from; St. Vincent Sports Performance, Alpinestars, Electric eyewear and Arai helmets
