AMA Press Luncheon set for May 12

Press Luncheon, May 12

 

You are invited to the West Coast Moto Jam press luncheon, Wednesday,
May 12, at Fior d'Italia Restaurant in San Francisco's historic North
Beach.  The event is hosted by Infineon Raceway.

 

 

RIDERS:

*	Jake Zemke (National Guard Jordan Suzuki): San Francisco native
and current American SuperBike points leader. Has two career wins in
Sonoma (Formula Xtreme 2005, 2008).

 

*	Josh Hayes (Team Graves Yamaha): Currently fourth in American
SuperBike standings. Posted first-ever SuperBike win in Sonoma in 2009;
two-time AMA Formula Xtreme champion.

 

*	Melissa Paris ('Iron Man 2' Yamaha): Native of Concord and
married to Josh Hayes. Competed in nine rounds of the Daytona SportBike
season in 2009; she placed 21st in the 2009 Daytona 500, the best finish
ever for a female in the history of the event.

 

*	Elena Myers (Roadracingworld.com RMR Suzuki): Resident of
Discovery Bay and just 16 years old. First female to finish in the top
10 (Daytona) and the first female to finish in the top 5 (Fontana) in an
AMA Pro Road Race, both in 2010. Competes in SuperSport.

 

*	Joey Pascarella (Yamaha): Vacaville resident, first in Daytona
SuperSport West standings with three wins.
