KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY ALERT - May 4, 2010

IZOD IndyCar Series testing has been canceled today at Kentucky Speedway due to the lingering affect of rain showers which moved through the area overnight. The test will not be rescheduled.

Brian Barnhart, President of Competition and Racing Operations, Indy Racing League: “It’s a difficult decision to cancel the test. You have a beautiful day and it’s a shame we can’t be on track. It’s not worth the risk right now. There’s no upside to it at all. The (track) conditions aren’t what they need to be to go out and run the race cars and learn what the teams here need to learn.”
