CKI ADDS KPV 1 CLASS TO PHOENIX WSK NORTH AMERICAN SERIES EVENT

CKI ADDS KPV 1 CLASS TO PHOENIX WSK NORTH AMERICAN SERIES EVENT

"First of local option classes starts at round #2"

Tempe, AZ - The Championship Karting International is pleased to announce
that the KPV 1 division will be a local option class at the next round of
the WSK North American Series by CKI. Being run at the fantastic PKRA
facility in Phoenix, Arizona, sportsman competitors competing in the KPV 1
class will be racing in the same event as their karting idols and the stars
of our sport.

"Adding the KPV 1 as a local option class in Phoenix is something that we
have been looking to do since moving the event to PKRA," expressed CKI's
Director of Operations Kevin Williams. "KPV 1 is a huge class out here in
the western half of the United States and to allow those competitors to come
and compete at one of our events is something that we look forward to. The
KPV 1 class will be treated like all other classes in the CKI program and
receive the same amount of quality track time and exposure as the rest."

The KPV 1 division is a Komet Piston Port class that runs predominantly in
the World Karting Association (WKA) and International Karting Federation
(IKF) and is for the 8 - 11 age groups. Providing great racing action and
wheel-to-wheel competition, the KPV 1 class rivals the completion of the
Comer Cadet Division as up and coming racing drivers look to battle for race
wins.

"P1 engines will be at the WSK event in Phoenix and we appreciate CKI
including the KPV1 class as a local option," stated Jesus Vasquez, owner and
engine builder of P1 Engines. "We are prepared to supply competitive motor
packages for rental to help support the event and series."

Utilizing WKA rules, the KPV 1 class will run on the Cadet chassis and
utilize MG tires with the class weight being 240 Lbs.

The WSK North American Series by CKI continues its six event 2010 National
Schedule with the second event May 14-16, 2010 at Phoenix Kart Racing
Association track in central Arizona. For entry and more information, visit
