Monroe, NC., April 26, 2010: Producers of the Robin Hood Rally, a first of its kind closed-road racing competition has donated $1000 to the Girl Scouts affiliated Gear Up For Life (GUFL) youth-development program. The check was delivered to Bill McCutcheon GUFL President, and Bobby Waltrip Director of Promotions and Marketing, at last weekend's Robin Hood Rally Track Day at the Pocono International Raceway.

“On behalf of the Robin Hood Rally and Executive Producer Michael Noval, it was my great pleasure to deliver the first season donation to the 2010 Girls and Gears program at Pocono last weekend,” said rally President Stephan Condodemetraky. “The kids were great, and having them in attendance during the Robin Hood Track Day offered an interesting contrast between the girl's early-stage racing approach, versus our more experienced rally competitors. We are looking forward to working with Girls and Gears again very soon, as the Robin Hood Rally begins to build new audience momentum focused on the premise of an innovative closed public-road racing series.”

“We are enormously grateful to the Robin Hood Rally for their generous donation, and Girls and Gears will put the money to good use immediately, ” said McCutcheon. “Bobby and I are very excited to be working with Stephan and Micheal and look forward to other working meetings in the near future.”

The GUFL - G&G program will launch its 2010 schools/event season next month at the Amelia Raceway in Amelia Virginia.
