Wet Weather forces Silver Dollar Speedway to postpone Friday's race
Much anticipated Bill Brownell memorial rescheduled for Friday Night, June 4th

CHICO, CA – Due to continued heavy rains in Northern California, Handy Racing Promotions has been forced to postpone Friday night's Bill Brownell Memorial Race at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. This event has been scheduled for Friday Night June 4th with further details on that event to come.

Handy Racing Promotions Incorporated and the entire staff of Silver Dollar Speedway offers their apologies for any inconvenience this latest cancellation has caused. The already soaked grounds in the pit area and track surface at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds received a heavy soaking throughout Tuesday and Wednesday making the already challenging conditions impossible to remedy in time for Friday's event.

Racing is expected, as scheduled at Placerville Speedway on Saturday night, April 24th. The Silver Dollar Speedway is expected to open on Friday night, April 30 with a four division racing program. For additional information on the upcoming rescheduled race visit www.silverdollarspeedway.com.
