Geely GS: 2010 Beijing Auto Show

BEIJING — At the 2010 Beijing Auto Show this week, Geely will unveil another new sports car, this one called the GS (Geely Star), to be sold under its Gleagle (Global Eagle) sub-brand.

The GS Lucky Star follows last year's GT (for Geely Tiger), which debuted at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show and will be marketed under the Emgrand sub-brand.

Both models will be on display in Beijing.

The latest version of the Emgrand GT has been mildly restyled and does away with the gullwing doors of the 2009 concept. The Beijing showcar reportedly will feature a 2.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and hybrid electric drive.
