Ansell Partnering With Peugeot Sport Turkiye for 2010 WRC/IRC

BRUSSELS, April 14, 2010 --

- 'High Performance in Hand Protection' Program Goes International

Earlier this week, the international racing team Peugeot Sports Turkey(http://www.peugeotsportturkiye.com/) announced that it will partner with Ansell(http://www.ansell.eu/) to participate in the rally IRC Series (Intercontinental Rally Challenge) organized by Eurosport Events with the first and only lady team in IRC; national athletes, Burcu Cetinkaya and Cicek Guney.

For the upcoming IRC Series, Peugeot Sport Turkiye is partnering with Ansell as its high performing partner in Hand protection. Ansell will feature between a series of other high performing brands as there are Turkish Airlines, Total, Yokohama, Red Bull, Gefco, Peugeot Finance, KS Tools and OMP. The team is also receiving the full support of the Turkish Council of Secretary of promotion, from State Minister Hayati Yazici.

Peugeot Sport Turkiye, and Ansell, will start with the home event, WRC Rally of Turkey (April 15-18) and follow in order Sardegna-Italy, Ypres-Belgium, Acores-Portugal, Madeira-Portugal, Barum-Czech Republic, San Remo-Italy, Rally of Scotland-UK, doing 8 rallies in total. IRC events will be broadcasted live, reaching 116 million households over 59 countries.

Ansell's partnership with Burcu Cetinkaya and Cicek Guney started almost 3 years ago. The interest by Ansell into racing is induced by the company's intent to promote the use of appropriate hand protection solutions all over. Still today, over 65% of all workers globally are not wearing the appropriate hand protection. If they are wearing protective gloves at all.

The Peugeot 207 Super 2000 carrying the Ansell brand will start first at home, between 15-18 of April.
