Jeep Sales Continue to Grow in 2010 - March Sales up 57 Percent
MULGRAVE, AUSTRALIA – April 13, 2010: Jeep sales in 2010 have been led by three key models and in March the results were even more impressive with an increase over last month and year to date.
Jeep Cherokee sales continue to grow in 2010 with the versatile off-roader producing its best quarter since launch while Patriot consistently performs since its refresh in October.
Wrangler sales continue to be the number one selling vehicle across the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge line-up with 235 sales recorded during the month of March.
Though sales for Chrysler Australia were down 16 percent versus March year to date, the Chrysler Sebring Cabrio and Dodge Journey had an increase in March.

Chrysler Group LLC announced promising March sales results,
posting a 10 percent increase compared with February. All-new and improved
vehicles lead the way with both month-over-month and year-over-year sales
increases.
“New products like the 2010 Ram Heavy Duty pickup truck and Dodge Caliber with an all-new interior are resonating with consumers, resulting in increasing sales,” said Fred Diaz, President and Chief Executive Officer – Ram Truck Brand and Lead Executive for the Sales Organisation. “Consumer confidence indicators are up this month and traffic in dealership showrooms continues to grow.”
The company reported total U.S. sales for March of 92,623 units, a decrease of 8 percent compared with March 2009 (101,001 units) and an increase of 10 percent compared with last month (84,449 units).
