Frank Kimmel "At
Home" in Salem

MOORSVILLE, N.C. (April 6, 2010) -With a record nine ARCA Racing Series victories
at Salem
Speedway, it would be an understatement to say that Frank Kimmel feels at home
at the historic Indiana track. When the
green flag falls on Sunday's Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 presented by ApplianceZone.com,
Kimmel will not only be considered a favorite to win but will also be a
favorite among the fans in his hometown crowd.

Hailing from Clarksville, Ind.,
Kimmel has logged thousands of laps around his hometown racetrack, Salem
Speedway. With the Frank Kimmel Racing
shop only 47 miles away, this race is circled on the Ansell/Menards team's
schedule.

"Salem Speedway is a track with a
lot of history," said Kimmel. "It is an important track to the Kimmel
family. My dad raced here, and I have
been coming to Salem for more than 30 years. As a team, we put a lot of pressure
on ourselves to run well here. We are not only racing in front of our
hometown fans, we also have a lot of family and friends that come to the track.
It is important to come out of Salem with a good finish."

When the checkered flag falls on
Sunday, Kimmel and his Ansell/Menards team hope to write their names in the
Salem Speedway record books for the 10thtime, which would be one
step closer to a record-setting 10thARCA Racing Series
Championship.

On-track activities for the
Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 presented by ApplianceZone.com will begin
with practice and qualifying on Saturday, April 10. Sunday fans will have the
opportunity to get autographs from their favorite ARCA driver from 11:30 a.m. -
12:30 p.m. before the green flag drops at 2:15 p.m. audio streaming can be
found on ARCAracing.com during the event.

Frank Kimmel and the
No. 44 Ansell/Menards Ford Notes

Good to Be Home: Salem Speedway is the
home track for Frank Kimmel. The No. 44
Ansell/Menards team race shop is located less than 30 miles from Salem. To say
that a win at Salem Speedway is important would be an understatement as
Kimmel's family has been competing at the historic oval for over 30 years.

Looking for 10: Not only is Frank
Kimmel looking towards getting back on track for his record-setting 10thARCA Racing
Series Championship run, but he is also looking to put his name in
the record books at Salem Speedway for a 10thtime in this weekend's
Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 presented by ApplianceZone.com. With nine
victories at the famed half-mile oval, Kimmel currently holds the record for the
most ARCA series victories at Salem.

Family Affair: Any time Kimmel hits
the track, it is a family affair for his Ansell/Menards team. This weekend's
race at Salem really brings the family aspect of the Frank Kimmel Racing Team
to the spotlight. His brother, Bill Kimmel Jr., serves as his crew chief and
has been with Frank for eight of his nine ARCA championships. His nephew, Will Kimmel,
serves as jack man
and also climbs behind the wheel of his own street stock at Salem Speedway
throughout the racing season. Frank's
son, Frank Kimmel II, serves as occasional spotter and tire changer for his
father's team. When Frank II is not
working at the family-owned Frank Kimmel Racing, he is driving in the Street
Stock Division at Salem Speedway, where he has won the past two series
championships.

Chasing the Record Books: If you look at the ARCA Racing Series
presented by RE/MAX and Menards record books, there are not many lists that do
not include Frank Kimmel. This season, his sights are set on breaking the
all-time ARCA win record. With 74 career
ARCA victories, Frank is five wins shy of breaking the record held by Iggy
Katona.

In The Points: Kimmel's 12th-place
finish at Palm Beach International Speedway moved him up 14 positions in the series
point standings. He now stands in 11thposition, 145 markers behind leader Justin
 Marks.

Frank Kimmel Quotes

What do you like about racing at Salem and what
are some challenges at Salem?"I love that it is only 30 minutes from
home! The track has a lot of character
and history. Salem is a rough, short
track, so it is not as aero dependent. To do well here, you really have to race
the race track. It is a tight
track with really tight corners. I love
the atmosphere at Salem. I always look
forwarding to not only racing in front of my home town fans but also the several
family and friends that come to the track."

"Salem Speedway can be a really tricky
track. Having success here is always a
case of trial and error. It is a rough track with a worn out surface; there are
even some chunks of asphalt missing on the racing surface. It is a tight track,
so there is not a lot of
racing room. To be successful, you
really have to race the track and keep your nose clean. This year the track
will be new to everybody because there has been so much construction. Nobody has
been able to test, so it is really
going to put everybody on a level playing ground."

What will your team need to do in order to
pull out your 10th win at the track?"Track position is really important, so
qualifying will be really important. We
need to get up near the front, lead laps and stay out of trouble. We can't make
any mistakes on pit road or on
the track and make sure to be there at the end. If we can do that, I think we have
a good chance on Sunday."

The Frank Kimmel Street Stock Series will
also be competing at Salem Speedway this weekend, does that add to your level
of excitement going into the weekend?"I am really excited for the Frank Kimmel
Street Stock Series this weekend. It
will be the second race for the series at Salem. The rules and cars for the series
originated
out of the Salem Speedway area, so it's always exciting to see them compete
here. Last year, I felt like this series
had some of the best short track races I have ever seen at Salem. I am looking forward
to seeing them get back
to racing action; it is a great opportunity for those drivers to compete in
front of a large ARCA crowd."
