*TODAY: Administrator Jackson, Secretary LaHood to Hold Press Conference Call on Clean Cars Rule* 

 

*WASHINGTON* - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa P. Jackson and Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will hold a press conference call Thursday April 1 at 12:00 p.m. to discuss the administration's historic clean cars rule. 

 

Last September, Administrator Jackson and Secretary LaHood joined President Obama at the White House to announce the proposed rule, which would establish an historic national program to improve vehicle fuel economy, save consumers money at the pump and slash greenhouse gas emissions.
